Introduction to breathwork & pranayama

  • At One Studio 127 Buckley Street Essendon, VIC, 3040 Australia (map)

In this workshop we will develop an understanding of the function and power of the breath and how it can be used to enhance a yoga practice, improve focus and build resilience.

With the current boom in modern breathwork it is helpful to get a sense of its yogi origins in Pranayama so we will cover both the modern approach and develop an understanding of the physiological effects of breathwork as well as dip into the subtle body and more traditional pranayama techniques.
