Yin & Pin: Spring Clean

  • At One Studio 127 Buckley Street Essendon, VIC, 3040 Australia (map)

In collaboration with local acupuncture clinic, Qi Medicine

Yin and Pin merges two of the most ancient Eastern modalities: acupuncture and yoga to support your mind and body through times of transition, bringing balance into your life and enhancing your well-being…

Spring is a time of new beginnings and growth…

In this immersive 90 minute practice, we will be using a combination of yin yoga, pranayama and acupuncture to help clear out any stagnant energy that may have built up over the slumber of the winter months, let go of anything that no longer serves and leave you feeling restored, renewed and reawakened.

We’ll begin with a warming cup of herbal tea and a short talk on the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, then move into a series of yin postures and breathwork techniques before settling into a long and cosy Savasana.

During this next phase, a guided meditation will bring you deeper into relaxation, as your pulse is checked and acupuncture needles are gently placed at special pressure points to reinforce and enhance the benefits of the yin yoga practice.

£60 per person. 15% off for At One Members.

Please ensure you fill out the online consent form that you'll be emailed to you by Qi Medicine before the event.

Please note: This is a small and intimate event with very limited spaces available, so booking is essential. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not show up, you will not be refunded.

ABOUT THE ACUPUNCTURE

What is Acupunture exactly?

Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practice, where tiny needles are inserted into specific points around the body. These points correlate to meridian lines (channels of vital energy/qi) encouraging the gentle clearing of energetic blockages.

All the acupuncture points for Yin and Pin are entirely safe and not generally painful. During the session (after the needles have been placed), the acupuncturist will be available and on hand for ongoing support if any discomfort or concerns arise. However, acupuncture for the purpose of emotional regulation and nervous system relaxation is thankfully a very enjoyable experience.
